Hello everyone 🙂

Today is July 20th, and I seriously can’t believe more than half of summer is over… where did it all go?! There are only 5ish more weeks of my internship and 6 more weeks until I go back to school

Today I got a haircut! and the same thing that always happens to me while I’m getting my hair cut happened once again

Day before the haircut

omg omg I can’t wait to cut my hair, I’m going to be so rocking, and I’ll get my hair blowdried, I’ll have that celebrity style whoo hoo!

Drive to the salon

Hm.. why am I less excited? You know what, I don’t need to cut my hair, it looks great. Psh what are split ends??

Sitting down in the chair

me: “So I just want 2 inches cut off”
stylist: “really? cause you’d look great with shoulder length hair”

omg here we go

me: “yes. just the 2 inches.”
stylist: “that’s not that much”
me: “okay fine. 3 inches”
stylist: “how about 4? it’ll lighten your head and give your hair a bounce”
me: “..sure why not”

Oh my god Sandhya what are you saying.

During the cut

OH MY GOD. MY HAIR IS DISAPPEARING. WHAT DO I EVEN DO. MY BEAUTIFUL HAIR IS GONE. THE WORLD IS OVER

After they blowdry it

Oh. I guess I look alright 🙂 

So once I came home, I just channeled my inner celebrity and I was convinced that I can totally pull off the look that all of these celebrities have on instagram…

It’s way harder than you think. But I’m sure if I had my own hair and makeup team it would be a lot easier. Here is my attempt to look like Shay Mitchell.. specifically this picture

… that Cali sun and those beach vibes are actually really hard to come by, but hey, it’s my first picture featuring my new hair so I’m not too upset 🙂

Plus I love these glasses 🙂
