Bonjour once again!
As an update I am now in India but because I am behind on my blog posts I’m going to update on the Eiffel Tower!
Probably the most romantic place in Paris. The number of proposals I saw was amazing. Some had dance sequences, some were a beautiful speech along with the question.
Despite being sleep deprived I was going to enjoy it. Paris was a lot colder than expected, so despite wearing a dress I had to wear a sweatshirt on top. But wow the Eiffel Tower was even prettier than I remember, especially at night.
We went on a behind the scenes Eiffel tower tour where we went underground and to the second floor restaurant. I highly recommend going on this tour because it was a super fun experience. Luckily the tour guide’s English was easy to understand and he was quite entertaining too. The tour lasted about 2 hours and we were ready to fall asleep.
But we ate at this nice Mediterranean restaurant and wow! I have never had tastier chicken kabobs with couscous, salad, and pita bread.
We were absolutely exhausted to do anything and went back to the hotel. It was a great first day and if all of Paris was taking nice pictures and eating exquisite food, then I never want to leave this city.
Sandhya 🙂
