It’s time to get my life together

It’s 12:15 am on a Thursday Night/Friday morning during Winter break. I have a huge starbucks mug of coffee by my bed and I’m popping goldfish in my mouth like tic-tacs. Instead of watching the usual Netflix, or reading a book (I’m at a critical part right now and I know once I start I won’t be able to stop) I decided that I missed writing, so here goes.

Hello everyone 🙂

So today I found out what “studyblrs”  are on tumblr: it’s the combination of the words study, and tumblr, and I have to say that I’m obsessed. A studyblr is basically a blog full of study how-to’s, advice, subject help, and cool photos of anything and everything to do with studying (books, stationery, etc).

And even though it’s near the end of winter break, I’ve never been more inspired to study and do well – and I guess better late than never. I was still in my transition mode when one of my friends asked to accompany him to a shopping center, where I took all of my LSAT books and sat in Le Pain Quotidien while he met with a friend.

I usually love studying in public places but I don’t get much done, it’s usually more of a “lowkey” process. But after the waiter give me bottomless chai lattes, I ordered several of their belgian waffles (definitely recommend by the way!), and I went through 11 chapters in 6 hours, then I knew it was probably my new sanctuary.

So after getting 12 fun new highlighters, and tons of stationary, including 36 new stabilo pens, I knew that it was time to get down to business.

After a very productive day, I can safely say that I’m on the road to law school… this journey will be hard, bumpy, and extremely frustrating, but it’s a path that I am going to succeed in.

I wish the best of luck to all of you and if you are also on the same law school path, then be sure to comment below! 🙂

Also, as much as I hope you enjoyed your waffles, they would’ve been better if you’d added the maple syrup. Ha! 😉

  3. I’m so proud of you! Also those pens are AMAZING. I know usually I compare you to elle woods, but right now I’m sensing Leslie Knope: determined, productive, and independent woman who cannot stop eating waffles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4c_ut4aYb0
