Hello to 2021!

Hello everyone! Happy Saturday and Happy 2021!

So yesterday, I wrote a roundup post about what’s been happening in the antitrust world in the past three weeks. I really enjoyed writing about something that I love! I thought I would go back and do an official blog post of 2021.

Writing posts after a long time always have a little bit of an awkward vibe to it — do I talk about my resolutions, or my 2020 recap, or maybe do we address the elephant in the room that is COVID and 11 months later wonder: “how did we get here??”

Since we’re all living the covid life, I’m going to brush past that and instead give 3 quick updates!

  1. I’m in my last semester of law school!!! This is crazy to be honest; it literally feels like 6 months ago when I left home to move to Philly
  2. I somehow feel like I’ve been 25 for 3 years and 3 days at the same time, but the truth is, I’m about to turn another year older (ugh). Late twenties??? What’s that about?
  3. I still haven’t written about my trip to Chicago or my 25th birthday, and I have 27 drafts sitting and waiting to be posted. Here’s hoping that this year I write a lot more; however, I say that every year, and I tend to write in January and February and then taper off. I also decided this year I’ll host giveaways and have a greater online presence, and who knows, maybe it’ll be the year I finally decide to start a podcast? 🙂

Chances are that I’ll be writing pieces in the next 5 weeks, and then taper off, and you’ll see me again in 2022. Here’s hoping that doesn’t happen!

2020 was definitely a weird year, and here’s hoping that 2021 is better! But enough about me, I want to hear from you: what are your resolutions this year? Pop culture recs: Are there any new books, podcasts, shows, movies that you’ve been interested in? What’s something new that’s piqued your interest? 🙂 Please feel free to comment below or connect with me directly!

Until next time! 🙂

I would say my new year resolution is to focus on my physical and mental health, in all aspects! Great post, and congrats that you’re in your last semester in law school!

I’ve never been the best about keeping New Years resolutions but last year I did surprisingly well! I want to keep up my goal of exercising 4 days a week and I’m trying to meal prep/ cook more often!

Happy New Year and Cheers to 2021!

A+ post Sandhya. Have you read “Talking to Strangers” by Malcolm Gladwell?
There’s an audio version too, in case you want to rest your eyes after all those law school books.
