An Ideal Day in My Future Life

I’ve always felt like the best way to fulfill your goals, was to imagine yourself succeeding. I’m not totally sure if it works, but this is going to be a trial run.

Last Tuesday when I met my three friends for lunch, we started talking about how we want our ideal life to be.

Of course I want to be a lawyer and event planner, and really successful, but I also want to be mentally and physically fit as well.

I would love to wake up in the morning at 6:30 am and get started with my day early, with doing some pilates and having an Acai Bowl or Avocado Toast for Breakfast.

Then I’d watch an episode of FRIENDS or Gilmore Girls, or another one of my favorite feel-good shows, and then get started with my day by 8 am.

After working hard, I’d love to kick it back with my husband and eat dinner with my kids and talk about our day.

Every so often I’d also like to meet with my friends and have a girls night in, where we make face masks and paint our nails and create amazing fruit bowls that we eat (and instagram hehe) and drink champagne while watching a chick flick and gossiping about work

Maybe some day this can happen 🙂 Also a shoutout to one of closest and best friends Katie, Happy 21st birthday babe! Hope you had the best day ever!

  1. I can confirm that Gilmore Girls is a fantastic way to start your morning. Gets your brain going with all the fast witty dialogue and such. Also, I still need to try avocado toast it sounds amazing. And thanks for the shoutout! My day was fabulous, thank you. ❤

Fabulous birthday for a fabulous person 🙂 We should definitely have Avocado Toast sometime soon, probably at our next sleepover

I’ll take the Late in your photo to start 🙂

I suppose it says a lot about me that I immediately jumped to a one time magical adventure in Half Moon Bay or a endurance ride through Europe when you asked me what my ideal day would be like. I think the reason it is such a challenge for me to come up with a routine I would be happy with is because I know I wouldn’t stick to it (I mean besides maximizing sleep). But hell, cheers to getting successful enough that it would be feasible to succumb to falling into a routine. There is definitely something innately sexy about having the financial and social freedom to skip town to pursue something you came up with in a dream the night before.

Thanks for your comment John 🙂 Maximizing sleep is always a great plan in my opinion, and I know that some day you’ll be able to chill in the White House with your friends while your wife is the POTUS, and don’t worry, you’ll be financial and socially secure and more free than I am, and we’ll keep each other in check for many years to come 🙂

Your ideal day is so similar to mine! Especially the early morning Pilates, watching one of our favorite shows, and kicking it back with the family 🙂 sounds like the perfect day!
