First of all, I still can’t believe it’s 2019

Second of all, I can’t believe this stupid holiday is back

So those of you that know me, know that I hate this holiday, and no, it’s not cause I don’t have a Valentine, it’s because it’s just a horrible hyped up holiday. How come how much you spend on one day suddenly equates to how much you care about them?

Pass.

But still, this year it’s been nice so far (knock on wood!!) – I went on two Galentine’s Day Dinners, one with my lovely friends at home and one with my wonderful new law school friends 🙂

For my Galentine’s back home, we went out to a Latin restaurant on Saturday evening then went to one our friend’s house and drank tea/coffee and hung out!

And for Galentine’s in the city, we went to this cute restaurant which was very 60s themed!

(Also, is it a girls night out if you don’t ask a random guy to take a blurry pic of you… or five? jk, thanks Steven, your photography skills are much appreciated 🙏)

And today, after a looong day of classes, I get to spend the evening in an airport going to visit my uncle for his 50th birthday! And you all know how much I love airports 🙂

But you know, even though this holiday is the worst part of February (the best being in 2 weeks, whoop whoop 24!), this year I’m feeling a lot of love, for my friends, for my family, for where I am and what I’ve done, and I’m feeling extremely thankful. So here’s to more love, more happiness, and more success in 2019!
